What is Recycled Kit?
Recycled Kit is my unique shop
based in central Llangollen.
The shop is filled to the brim with
preloved road cycling kit
of all brands and sizes.
We stock both men's and ladies of all sizes.
It works like an old record shop where people can trade in their unwanted kit
& purchase new items
at a fraction of the original retail price.
I get all the brands, everything is at random.
Castelli, Rapha, Ale', Stolen Goat, Muddy Fox
- the works.
You never know what will come in next.
A shop packed with
hundreds of preloved cycling jerseys
bib shorts, tights, jackets and shorts galore.
Over 100 brands all in one place
to choose from
and you can try it on before you buy.
So easy and it's a bargain.
It's the perfect opportunity
for any cyclist to try out
dozens of different designs and cuts
without the guessing game
of buying online.
And it's a lot more economical.
Stop by for a browse today.
In the words of Simon Squibb
What's your dream?
'' When I see a guy riding his bike,
I don't see brands or an expensive bike - I see a man living an awesome life.
Cyclists shine with confidence, self worth and they always look great.
I want that life available for everyone ''
Steve Brady, Recycled Kit Llangollen.
''What a treasure trove!''
Testimonials
Great little find!
Second hand and decent stuff.
Steve is a really helpful, friendly proprietor and this place has the added advantage of being both online and a high street shop to pop into in Llangollen.
Highly recommend!
Some bargains to be had and it sits well with me ethically as it's reusing kit that would otherwise be thrown away. I will definitely visit again

What an amazing shop!
I brought a couple of pairs of Huub bib shorts for a tiny percentage of what a single pair would cost new.
Great quality and a great initiative, will be visiting again!

Popped in for the second time as I do live in Warwickshire.
Love this place, exchanged cycling kit I no longer required for cycling kit I did and could not be happier!
The shop is a must for any cyclist in the area or anyone passing by, so much great stock and a great owner.
I will highly recommend to others.

FAQs
I know it's a lot to take in, here's the biggest questions answered.
Where does it come from ?
All my products are either traded in by my customers, bought as job lots or sourced from UK based vintage wholesalers.
I prefer to do trade ins, instead of donations, because I'm a business,
not a charity.
I get loads brought in from cyclists all around the area - they just get it.
Is it genuine?
Absolutely.
All items are as they've arrived. I have over 100 brands of kit coming in.
Everything from Castelli to the more modern brands on Amazon & eBay.
If you have reservations about a particular jersey, just let me know
I'll take it down and destroy it.
I never manufacture anything,
all is pre worn kit being
saved from going to waste.
Is the condition good?
All the kit is quality checked before being displayed.
All in perfectly
usable condtion.
I'm picky, but due to the volume and
needing to list quickly,
the odd mark may be missed.
If you're ever disappointed, just let me know & I'll get you sorted.
Is it clean?
Absolutely.
Rest assured, I am very picky on cleanliness.
All garments are pre-washed twice before going on sale.
Particularly when I sell Bibs, Shorts and leggings in store.
Hygiene is paramount
and no corners are cut.
Every single item is checked for wear & tear, marks and any other quality issues.
Because that's rank.
No grotty shorts on my watch.
Should I visit the shop?
Most definitely.
You can browse the whole range merchandised
by chest measurement.
Because as you know,
kit either fits...or it doesn't.
You can touch , feel & try on any kit you want to.
We're not like big chains that ignore customers or give you grief for trying lots of stuff -
just go for it, do your thing.
And also,
In store there'll be lots of bargain stock, Shorts, Bibs and leggings that won't always get listed fast enough.
Will there be kit to fit me?
Absolutely.
My shop is as inclusive as it gets.
My biggest aim is kit for everyone, and everyone is welcomed the same.
There is no pressure or expectation to buy, just stop by and shop,
feel welcome.
Some sizes are really hard to get, and I'm planning my own range in future to fill those gaps in the market so nobody gets left out ever.
So how about it?
If you live near Llangollen, it's recommended you come visit the store. See the kit & try it out. There. is. loads.
It's quite normal for people to kit up for the whole year all at once, grab it while it's there.
If you're on your bike don't worry, we'll post it home free.
